Win a Pirate Radio t-shirt
To celebrate the launch of our new website, we’ve designed a Pirate Radio t-shirt.
We are giving away 10 of these groovy geeky fashion items.
We’re looking for comments, feedback and constructive criticism of our new website and blog. What are the things you would change? How could we improve it? How do you like the design and structure?
Post a comment or even better, create a pingback/trackback by linking to this post.
We’ll review all the feedback by Friday the 18th and select the best ones.

Is your XML sitemap in place, if not that’d be my first suggestion…
Nice one Joe

Great new design. I wasn’t too averse to the previous design, actually. Frogfoot.com looks awesome, don’t change a thing.
The blog is great, there is just something small that seems to be missing in the masthead. I can’t put my finger on it … the spraycan seems a bit arbitrary. It should be ‘doing something.’

Nothing wrong, great site, keep up the good work!

Hey froggies
Beautiful design and execution. Love the colors, and of course the frog.
Some thoughts:
a:) I agree with Eishman’s “arb spraycan” just floating around the site. It’s a graphical element introduced as a filler. Remove it and I think that would already be a small imrovement.
b:) The blogs page(s) seem to be mis-aligned in Internet Explorer by a pixel or two, although you’ll be happy to know I’m viewing it now with my trusty Firefox browser and it aligns perfectly.
c:) The masthead appears to be rather large, with the content only really displaying just below the fold. (my desktop is set to 1280×800). This could just be something personal, it just appears to take up a lot of real estate.
An awesome makeover!

Hi
@rafiq, thanks, we’ll have a look at adding a site map
@Eishman, thank for your kind words on the old site.. it was a bit dark and gloomy for most people.
Our idea with the spraycan was to make it arbitrary (; get people to notice it and go check out the blog.
@Warren, the alignment problem is an IE6 thing. We put a little button at the top of the page to let users know they are running old browsers.
We had a bit of a debate about the size of the masthead. Vincent figures it’s in line with Web2.0 style.
Thanks for the positive feedback.

Wow, I just discovered your website today! Think I may be too late for the comp! But I am going to comment anyway! I love it the overall design makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside! I love the Frogs, lol who doesn’t!!
I actually like the spraycan/graffiti thing I feel it is very appropriate for a Blog! Not just the blog but also your main site deserves praise! When I first saw the main page I though I was on some overseas site which had managed to advertise locally! I was amazed at the level of detail and how the, what do you call it, “Flow” of the information and graphics was so comforting!
The way your site looks made me WANT to subscribe to some of your services, not the other way around which I find from some dodgy sites out there where the design makes me not want to buy anything form them!!
Kudos on a job very very well done!

Hey Johan
Thanks for your very positive feedback. Makes my day to read a comment like this. We still have some work to do on the business section. I’ll keep your idea about “flow” in mind for that project.
We’re only getting the t-shirts back from the screen printer this coming week. We should have them on Wednesday the 23rd. After that we’ll contact a few people to get postal addresses or arrange for them to collect the t-shirts.
I guess we could also just take them to the next GeekDinner as a collection point.

I really like the site, good groovy graphics, I like the green used on the website, but most of all, I’m greedy for one of those redit redit t-shirts.
