Call Center Support Staff

Position: Call Center Operator
Office location: Newlands, Cape Town
Division: Network Operations
Reporting to: Network Operations Manager
Permanent / Contract: Permanent, Shift-based
Required Start Date: ASAP

Summary of position:
You will work in a call centre environment as part of our Support Help Desk and will be dealing with clients directly. Your tasks will include 1st and 2nd level customer support and admin talks related to dial-up, ADSL, email and web hosting services.

Technical Skills Required
. General TCP/IP Networking and Routing Background
. Knowledge of consumer Internet products, ADSL, eMail, Web Hosting

Technical Skills which are Advantageous
. Debian and Ubuntu
. LPI qualifications
. Basic understanding of DNS and domain registration

Systems Administrator

Position: Systems Administrator
Office location: Newlands, Cape Town
Division: Network Operations
Reporting to: Network Operations Manager
Permanent / Contract: Permanent
Required Start Date: ASAP

Summary of position:
You will be working in a team of 4 people responsible for the daily running of Frogfoot’s ISP network. Your tasks will include building and installing Linux servers, 1st and 2nd level customer support and running a datacentre.

Technical Skills Required
. 1 Year Linux Experience
. TCP/IP Networking and Routing

Technical Skills which are Advantageous
. Debian and Ubuntu
. LPI qualifications
. Cisco switch and routers
. PHP/MySQL “LAMP” background, Wiki’s, Mailing lists
. RAID configurations, Radius, LDAP, Apache
. Basic understanding of DNS and domain registration
